today's post will b a bit controversial. but I've preppd for that by reminding u that this is MY list of faves that I've recorded...👀 there's such a stench surrounding my 1st record (j between u & me) - i can't get it outta my nose. and i would hav nevr revisited those songs had it not ben for the album's 15th Anniv last year. it presented an opp' 2 c what i felt about them. so, i took them round the block and they came back 2 me. i found a luv 4 them again. they became my own. particularly the 2 songs I'm presenting 2 u 2nite. that's right, I'm givn 2 for 1 this eve - since i know sum o y'all swear by that 1st album, i figure I'll double the dose and c if these don't make u see straight ;-) *do me 1 favor: listen 2 these n private. by urself. let them make luv 2 ur senses and then tell me if u can grasp the beauty of the amber that has swallowed ur ol' faves and now sits here as shiny new gems.

Just a beautiful jazzy rap album with buttery smooth flows versed with huge talent. It's not only lovely to the ears, but the lyrics are profound and empowering about the struggles that she faces. zhangtastic
